MAY your heart be filled with joy because of Christ Jesus (1 Peter 1:8–9 and
Nehemiah 8:10).
May you find something good in each day, as Scripture reminds us: “O taste and
see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him” (Psalm 34:8,
NKJV).
MAY you look for ways to show love to someone who needs a friendly smile, a
hug, a lift up, a friendly word….
MAY you express words of encouragement to someone and trust that you too will
be encouraged.
MAY you find that when you add refreshment to someone’s day, that you too will
be refreshed in your spirit (Proverbs 11:25).
MAY you find great joy in the presence of our God as you spend time with Him in
worship, prayer, Scripture reading, or silence.
MAY you appreciate the “colour” in each day—a song, a sunset, flowers, a text or
phone call, a painting, wildlife, a tasty meal, a friend.
MAY you set aside a day to spend with a friend/sister/someone to have coffee or
lunch or an activity just to enjoy each other’s company—to listen, laugh or relax.
MAY the longer sunlight hours provide a time to linger outside, enjoying
and praising God for His fabulous creation.
MAY you find strength for your weariness, relief for your pain, gladness for your
sorrow, peace for your anxiety, and reassurance for any doubt. God is the God of
all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3–4). He is sufficient.
MAY a new adventure await you sometime this month. Wait expectantly!
MAY you experience childlike laughter and amusement as you remain open
to the simple things of life.
As you watch the flowers bloom, MAY you be thankful for the new life you
have in Christ Jesus (1 Peter 1:3 and 2 Corinthians 5:17).
As you hear the lively chatter of birds, MAY your heart sing a joyful tune
to our wonderful, loving Saviour (Psalm 96:1–2).
As the grass and trees become greener, MAY you remember and be thankful
for the promise in Psalm 92:12–14: “The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,
they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the LORD, they will
flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age; they will stay
fresh and green” (NIV).
As you think about planting a garden, MAY you also think about planting seeds
of love, encouragement, and faith; and pray, via the Holy Spirit, to see a harvest
later in the year.
MAY your friendships deepen in trust and love and appreciation for the bond
and affection you share.
MAY you experience new joy in, understanding of, and appreciation for God’s
Word as you spend time in Scripture.
As you walk with the Lord and recognize His presence in your life, MAY your
joy and peace abound in each day. Such a sweet and precious blessing!
MAY your meals be flavourful as you share them with others, and MAY you add
“flavour” to your spiritual journey as you praise Him for His goodness.
MAY you cherish each day of this month as you walk with the Lord.
