Podcasts are like radio shows that you can listen to whenever you want by accessing them on your phone, tablet, or computer. Tidings podcasts will be selected articles, read aloud, from each current issue of Tidings Magazine.

 

Listen at home, in the car, while you are walking, anywhere that is convenient. You could play an episode when you go to visit someone, or recommend it to friends and family.

 

Because there is more than one magazine called Tidings, be sure to look for and select the Tidings Magazine podcast. Notice the ABW logo on the podcast image.

 

HOW DO I ACCESS A PODCAST?

 

Accessing podcasts is relatively easy, and there are several ways to do it. Here are a few common methods:

 

Smartphones and Tablets: If you have a smartphone or tablet, you can download a podcast app from the app store. Some popular podcast apps include Apple Podcasts (for iOS devices) and Spotify. (Note that the Tidings Magazine podcast will not be available on Google Podcasts.) Once you have the app installed, you can search for the specific podcast. Click on it to access its details and episode list. On podcast apps, you’ll typically see a screen dedicated to the podcast, showing its description, artwork, and available episodes. On websites, you may be directed to the podcast’s page or landing site.

 

Computers: If you prefer using a computer, you can access podcasts through various websites and streaming platforms. Many podcasts have their own websites where you can stream or download episodes directly. Additionally, platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts have web versions that allow you to listen to podcasts online.

 

Subscribe or Follow the Podcast: Look for a “Subscribe” or “Follow” button associated with the podcast. Clicking on it will ensure that you receive updates whenever new episodes are released. By subscribing or following, you’ll have the podcast added to your subscription list or library within the app or website.

 

Do you have a smart speaker like Amazon Echo or Google Home?  You can ask it to play specific podcasts.
