Home Mission Project 2023
Dignity Bibs for Nursing Homes

Our Home Mission Projects are opportunities for women to reach out to others, within the Atlantic Provinces, with compassion to meet a need. Women join together, combine their resources, and help others.

It is time to get creative!
Atlantic Baptist Women are going to make or purchase adult bibs or aprons for nursing homes as the
ABW 2023 Home Mission Project. Sometimes these items are referred to as “dignity bibs” because they are designed to protect clothing from mealtime mishaps while providing dignity to the wearer by not looking like traditional bibs.
No sewers in your group? Consider collecting gift cards so that a seniors’ home of your choice can purchase bibs or other needed items.
This year’s Atlantic Baptist Women’s Home Mission Project presents the opportunity of offering encouragement to nursing home residents as well as to the staff.

Thank you for supporting, praying for and encouraging others!

Atlantic Baptist Women supports Baptist women preparing for ministry at Acadia Divinity College by offering bursaries each year.

We also present female graduates of ADC with a quilt upon completion of their studies.
