Impacting Locally Through Home Missions
Atlantic Baptist Women impacts our local communities by partnering with several ministry programs and projects within the Atlantic Provinces.
Some ministries ABW regularly contributes to are:
Daily Vacation Bible School & Grants for Camps
Hospital Chaplaincy (Halifax and Saint John)
Newfoundland & Labrador Association Project
Pregnancy Resources Centers
Home Mission Project 2021
Our Home Mission Projects are opportunities for women to reach out to others, within the Atlantic Provinces, with compassion to meet a need. Women join together, combine their resources, and help others.
Faith, Fellowship, Food, Fun, and Friends! This is the essence of camping ministry. Camp is a place
for people of all ages, especially children and youth, to discover and develop a growing relationship with Jesus Christ in an inviting and safe environment. At the same time, camp offers personal growth through relationship building among staff and campers in meaningful, yet wonderfully wacky ways.
The pandemic has posed many challenges for camping ministry, and as Atlantic Baptist Women, we
have the opportunity to come alongside and be an encouragement to the 14 camps within the Atlantic
Baptist family. We can do this through our prayers and through the donating of gift cards and items used by camps.

Thank you for supporting, praying for and encouraging others!
Atlantic Baptist Women supports Baptist women at Acadia Divinity College preparing for ministry by offering bursaries each year.
We also present female graduates of ADC with a quilt upon completion of their studies.
