Comission on the Status of Women
Founded in 1946, the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, also known as CSW, is the biggest global policy-making body dedicated exclusively to addressing the needs facing women. Each March, the Commission convenes the largest gathering of women’s advocates in the world (including ministers, high-level government officials, and civil society representatives) to discuss progress, identify challenges, set policies, and communicate global standards.

The 70th CSW session will take place from March 9-20, 2026, in New York City and virtually. ABW will be sending a team of women to join in BWA Women's delegation from March 7-13, 2026. There is also the option to attend virtually - for more information on that you can reach out to Tera-Mae at: atlanticbaptistwomen@gmail.com
