S - Philippians 2:2 “…then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having

the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.”

O - Believers should be united together, moving in the same direction, working harmoniously towards the same goal.

A - Even when difficulties arise, the mark of mature believers, I believe, is the capacity to pull together and work with the same loving attitudes towards God’s purpose for the Church - to reach the lost and make disciples. Everything we do, whatever decisions we make, whatever direction we head in, should always be filtered through the purpose to which God calls us. When we operate with God’s compassionate love and grace guiding us, the world outside our church walls takes notice. Hurting people are drawn towards a body of believers who are united in purpose and loving toward one another despite their differences.

P - I am so thankful, Father, for a wonderful church family who bring me joy through like-minded love with a steadfast purpose.
