ABW Walks! 2024
Walking the Good News Across Atlantic Canada

Atlantic Baptist Women has been sending Vacation Bible School (VBS) summer ministry teams to Baptist churches and communities throughout Atlantic Canada since 1950!

Seeds of faith are planted in the hearts of hundreds of children each year, many of whom are not already a part of the churches hosting VBS. Churches receive the leadership they need as they step out in faith to offer this ministry. Some churches are familiar with the program while others have not offered it in several years or are offering it for the first time. The VBS leaders chosen by Atlantic Baptist Women receive leadership development and experience through Camp Con (a training weekend for camp leaders), internships at local churches and childcare facilities, and training on conducting VBS programs in a variety of locations.

This year’s walk will help provide funds to support Atlantic Baptist Women’s VBS summer ministry. Through this ministry, you can help spread the good news, encourage churches, and invest in young leaders. It costs approximately $10,000 per VBS leader each summer and the goal for 2024 is four leaders. Won’t you join us in impacting Atlantic Canada for Christ?

Walk Week is May 6-12
