ABW 2021 Walkathon

in support of the

AUBA Rev. Tracey R. Grosse Ministerial Bursary
for Females Pursuing Ordination

Rev. Grosse was the first ordained female minister in the African United Baptist Association, and the first black, ordained, female minister in the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada. She passed away on October 22, 2020. 

​

She often attended interMISSION and was a program participant on many occasions, including as a Sunday morning speaker. We will remember her words of wisdom and encouragement, her model of excellent leadership, and her loving smile. In honour of her life and service to God, we invite you to support this bursary fund through your participation in this walkathon.

Walkathon week is May 2-8

Please have the funds you raised to the ABW Treasurer by May 19. Funds can be sent by e-transfer or by cheque to the ABW Treasurer. If you wish to send a cheque, please email abwtreasurer@hotmail.com for the mailing address. Please make cheques payable to "Atlantic Baptist Women" and include “Rev. Tracey Grosse Bursary” in the memo section. Donations of $20 and above will be receipted if requested and a name and mailing address are provided.

An announcement of the total funds raised will be made during the virtual interMISSION event.
