You Are Mine - Isaiah 43:1b

Updated: Jan 25

S.O.A.P. - a method of spiritual journaling

Observation (What does it say?)

Application (What does it say to me?)

S - Isaiah 43: 1b “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine.”

O - This is a reminder that I need not be afraid because the God I serve is loving, personal and treats me like family.

A - Though I am not in a place of fear this morning, I could be if I dwelt on all the unknown and worried about the future. I know there will be fearful times ahead. No one can escape it in this life. How important it is to discover these verses and grow in my faith and knowledge of my Father’s words now so I will have an anchor to throw out in the storms of life to steady me and keep me afloat. Just dwelling on the fact that I have been redeemed - bought with a price, paid in full, by my God, is enough to rejoice about from now to eternity! He knows me by name and I belong to Him - never to be away from His watchful eye, care and keeping.

P - Perfect love casts out all fear. I am so thankful today for your peace and the assurance of your love and presence always.
